Of course, even the way that it was broken is memorable. I was watching TV, and wanted to watch Thundercats. My sister, however, wanted to watch Strawberry Shortcake, so she walked in and changed the channel. I jumped up and changed it back. She changed it too, so did I, so I kicked her in the shins. Then she bit me, I grabbed her nose.

By the 19th century, the pocket watch really came into its own. The American Railroad Association came together and established a set of standards for the quality and precision of these watches for the sake of safety. After a tragic train accident in 1891, the standards were implemented. After 1893, pocket watches that followed these stringent requirements were known as railroad grade pocket watches.
